German Gemstone Museum Idar-Oberstein

A stele about six metres high shows the entrance to the German Gemstone Museum. The stele is the eye-catcher of the signage system, which also includes four other smaller steles, one of which is located at the back of the former Villa Purper and leads to the certified, barrier-free entrance. Another stele next to the main entrance provides visitors with all the important information about the museum, including a display case for displaying posters referring to the special exhibitions and an LED display to show whether the museum is open. Next to it is a smaller glass stele from the sign system transparenz.
